About me
My name is Paul Aegerter alias iceXpaul. I am Swiss & South African living in Zurich Switzerland. One of the greatest places to train for sports because of its proximity to wonderful mountains and loads of sports facilities (ice rinks, skate parks, pumptracks, ski slopes, running trails).
In 2019, I had a fantastic dream about starting my career in Ice Cross Downhill at 41. Crazy? Yes! Impossible? No! But the purpose of starting that project was much more than testing my limits in the extreme sport of Ice Cross (former Red Bull Crashed Ice). I decided to do that to motive people to do sports and help the sport to grow and become Olympics!
I created the brand of iceXpaul and started to compete around the World and win my spots in the biggest competitions. Unbelievable but true, in my first season 2019, I started at world ranking #374. In 2024 I ended #53 and travelled the world to spread my positive vibes about the sport.
But that was not enough! I discovered a big potential to motivate people in a wide new sport: Novaski Cross (Novaskiing). So not just training my condition with Novaskiing but also competing in the World Cup! My best result in the World ranking 2025: #3.
My content reaches over 10 Millions views in social media in 2025. And you know what? I love what I do.
